4A Grads Buck The Rules

The winning campaign from this year's 4As program

"F*>K the Rules" was the rallying cry of the campaign for Converse that won this year's competition by the Institute of Advanced Advertising Studies.

Last week, ten of Hill Holliday's rising stars graduated from the program of 36 designed by the American Association of the Advertising Agencies for students with two to four years in the industry. Media, account management, creative and digital supervisors from member agencies nominate students into the program.

The four competing teams had 14 weeks and $6 million in their play budget to come up with a campaign strategy for the Converse basketball shoe, which in its heyday was seen on the feet of Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and other basketball superstars.
