
This week, Creativity Magazine published its selection of the top 20 Super Bowl Ads Ever. Hill Holliday is on the list with two Budweiser spots: “Respect”, created after the tragic events of September 11th, and “Replay” that takes a humorous poke at referees.
Doug Gould, art director on both spots, says, “The idea of creating a Super Bowl spot stands at the far edges of any creative’s dreams. To be a part of two spots, and have them both stand the test of time is beyond what I could ever imagine. We’re honored to see that these spots are fondly remembered by critics and consumers years after they ran. Both were both remarkable pieces of communication to be a part of.”
