The Future of TV: #TVnext Speakers Announced

1946 gave birth to network television and, back then, watching TV was a family event centered in the living room. No one during the “Golden Age of TV” could have predicted how we experience TV content today.

Television is no longer just a stand-alone box in the living room – It’s getting more social, more connected, and more portable. And the implications for leading marketers are profound.

We tweeted about #TVnext last week and today, we announce our initial speaker lineup.

Hosted by our very own Mike Proulx & Stacey Shepatin, TVnext is a day-long gathering of top industry thought leaders and innovators to explore the possibilities and opportunities of the new era of television.

James McQuivey and Baba Shetty will keynote the event followed by discussions with key executives from NBC, ABC, CBS, MTV, CNN, Hulu, GoogleTV, Boxee, Xbox, Blip.TV, Miso, Xfinity, Verizon FiOS, and many more.

How can you participate?
While attending the event at our offices is invite-only, we will be broadcasting everything live via Ustream and soliciting questions for our speakers from our “virtual audience” on Twitter.

We will also be giving away a few seats to attend in-person so be sure to follow @hillholliday and #TVnext for your chance to join us.
