Platform Media Group Overview

The rise of technology platforms has given way to programmatic, data-driven media buying. Trilia has built out a team dedicated to this programmatic approach whose expertise spans search, social, display, mobile and video.  The role of this team is to understand the landscape of technology platforms, how to use them, and then successfully apply them to the strategy and execution of client programs. 

Trilia is seeking a Platform Assistant Buyer with exceptional analytical and data driven skills to become an expert in platform offerings and how to best utilize the technology to drive business results.  This role is critical to success of the campaigns and will work closely with the Media planning and Account teams to ensure success.

Responsibilities

  • Become resident expert in the various platform technologies utilized by Trilia across disciplines (search, social, Marketplace and traditional programmatic technologies)
  • Monitor and manage performance on a day to day basis
  • Partner with strategists to understand the client’s marketing goals and nuances
  • Assist in the design and implementation of tactics that deliver against client goals across search, social and display
  • Understand strategies, tools, and data that can be leveraged to make campaigns more successful
  • Perform QAs and assist in weekly reporting to ensure accuracy of data and constant optimizations
  • Handle daily campaign maintenance including bid strategies, performance tracking and pacing reports
  • Develop understanding of third party ad-servers, rich media vendors, and other tracking technologies that can be incorporated into buys
  • Become an expert in both DCM and DBM and be able to traffic across platforms
  • Help monitor and optimize to campaign health benchmarks
  • Contribute to weekly, monthly, and annual client insights and strategy reports
  • Maintain current knowledge of growth and changes in the marketplace

Requirements

  • Solid work ethic
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Fluent in MS Excel usage
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, while maintaining an eye to detail
  • Ability to think creatively about challenging analytical problems and problem-solve
  • Troubleshooting skills, with creative ability to overcome challenges and problem-solve
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in media/advertising
  • Search experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required – preferably, but not limited to, those within a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Physics)
