The Senior Medical Editor is responsible for the editorial integrity of all pieces developed and produced by our medical communications agency. This position ensures all pieces are factually and grammatically flawless and that they comply with AMA style, client style, and FDA rules and regulations. The Senior Medical Editor contributes the fullest extent of their knowledge and understanding toward maintaining the highest levels of quality control. The role requires deep understanding of our clients’ products (mechanisms, clinical data, competitive differentiators), the conditions they treat (disease mechanisms, epidemiology, standards of care), and relevant prescriber details (practice behaviors, prescribing decisions and trends).

The ideal candidates would have 8+ years of agency experience with strong experience in the pharmaceutical advertising space. To be considered for this position you must possess the ability to manage multiple projects, be client-facing and have a full understanding of the agency process for digital, broadcast and print projects. The position will interact internally with client service, strategic planning, and creative staff, and with clients as required. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable training junior agency staff on product mechanisms, interacting with client Medical Affairs on relevance of clinical data.
