The rise of technology platforms has given way to programmatic, data-driven media buying.  Trilia has built out a team dedicated to this programmatic approach whose expertise spans search, social, display, mobile and video.  The role of this team is to understand the landscape of technology platforms, how to use them, and then successfully apply them to the strategy and execution of client programs.


Trilia is seeking an Assistant Platform Media Strategist with exceptional analytical and data driven skills to become an expert in platform offerings and how to best utilize the technology to drive business results.  This role is critical to success of the campaigns and will work closely with the Media planning and Account teams to ensure success.




  • Become familiar with various platform technologies utilized by Trilia across disciplines (search, social, and traditional programmatic technologies)
  • Understand and maintain digital specs
  • Understand trafficking and measurement needs in order to create effective traffic sheet documents
  • Coordination of outside vendor meetings and presentations
  • Assist in creation of digital media “buys” and recommendation decks
  • Provide research support on latest opportunities in the platform space
  • Assist in POVs on key trends
  • Support campaigns by providing QAs and delivery insights
  • Coordinate with platform assistant buyers on client nuances and objectives
  • Understand strategies, tools, and data that can be leveraged to make campaigns more successful
  • Develop understanding of third party ad-servers, rich media vendors, and other tracking technologies that can be incorporated into buys
  • Support billing and operations – creating authos, insertion Orders and handling billing reconciliation.

  • Fluent in MS Excel usage
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks, while maintaining an eye to detail
  • Ability to think creatively about challenging analytical problems and problem-solve
  • Troubleshooting skills, with creative ability to overcome challenges and problem-solve
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in media/advertising
  • Search experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree required – preferably, but not limited to, those within a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Physics)
