U.S. Army veteran Rick Groesbeck and his son visited the Hendrick Motorsports Museum, expecting a quick tour. The day brought so much more. 

To celebrate Rick and express thanks for his service, Bank of America teamed up with NASCAR legend Rick Hendrick and Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott to provide the longtime racing fan with the experience of a lifetime. Hendrick surprised Rick and his son with a personal VIP tour of the facility and garage before introducing them to Elliott. The young racing prospect took Rick for a spin around the track, helping the veteran fulfill one of his childhood dreams. For one final surprise, Rick was invited to wave the green flag at the Bank of America 500. We documented the events in a video for the Bank’s digital properties as an extension of the popular #troopthanks campaign.
