How can we use modern technology to optimize the point-of-purchase experience?

For a Dunkin' Donuts, we recreated their retail environment entirely in high-fidelity Virtual, and Augmented Reality, for the purposes of gathering feedback on current and future store concepts.

Using the HTC Vive, not only could users look around, but also move through the virtual space as they would in a real store. We could easily manipulate the environment to alter layout, lighting/textures, signage, and more.

This presented an opportunity to significantly increase opportunities for valuable customer input on new store concepts and details, while also drastically reducing risk and cost associated with physical construction of new concepts.
